Standard Operations

To create an image bring forward the Graphic Selector, click the image factory cell and then mouse down on a Graphic View and drag the cursor to another point. The initial and final cursor locations define the boundary of a pre-made image.

The first thing you will want to do is change the image to a representation stored on the disk. To do that type the full path of the image file in the inspector editor (in the Source filed shown below) and then click Enter to update the image. The image is now referenced to that representation on your disk. In order to get the image to appear in the document (and not somewhere outside your document) edit the source path by removing all but a single name (such as MyImage.png) and then click Enter once more. The next time you save the document the image will be stored internal to the document and will hence move around with the document.

For more information see Standard Editing.
