Important Notes

  • Production of the manual has been separated from the main Vvidget development and release control. That means the manual is a post-production product which can be revised much more often than a large software project.

  • When you read the manual and have suggestions then please submit those suggestions to editor@vvi.com. Please read the editor notes below before doing so.

Reading The Manual

  • You are encouraged to download and install the latest release of Vvidget onto your computer to read the manual. Reading it on your own computer is much quicker. To download click this link: Download.

Editor Notes

If you have edited large technical documentation or book then you know that such an endeavor is not an easy thing. It is impossible for fictional books to contain errors because the author can make up anything, even unique grammar and spelling. However, technical books can easily contain errors and sections that simply do not conform to what is being described, are written in such a way that the reader can not grasp the concept, or have lack of information. Furthermore, accurate information can be formatted in such a way as to make it intractable.

You are encouraged to submit your editorial concerns to editor@vvi.com. When you send email to the editor it goes directly to the staff responsible for the Vvidget Builder Manual. That staff (the editor) is in charge of integrating your information into the manual. Once integrated, the manual is re-packaged for distribution.

To help the editor, please read the following recommendations before making a submission:

  • For small errata, such as a spelling or grammar mistakes do not wait to compile a list, simply mail the errata as desired.

  • If you do not understand a section of the manual then please indicate how you would like it expanded upon. If you understand the function you may submit entire new text for submission. The text will be integrated for fluidity.

  • If there is a section of the manual that is missing then please indicate where you think that section should be placed in addition to its content.

  • Any submissions are considered not copyrighted or encumbered and editorial output shall be governed by the license included with the manual.

  • If you wish to be a regular submitter and reader and want to be acknowleged as such in the manual then please email the editor.
